Lanier High School Percussion Ensemble

The ensemble is made up of all of the participating percussionist in the Lanier Band program. The Ensemble performs in one large group as well as smaller chamber percussion groups. The percussion students at Lanier are trained in a variety of aspects of percussion and have an opportunity to perform with not only the above ensembles but also in one of the two concert bands.

 

A percussion ensemble is a musical ensemble consisting of only percussion instruments. Although the term can be used to describe any such group, it commonly refers to groups of classically-trained percussionists performing primarily classical music.
